Many new features come to Nothing Phone (2) with the update
The company, which released the Nothing OS 2.5.5 update for the Phone (2a) with features such as camera improvements, bug fixes, and the April security package, has now offered the same update to the users for the Phone (2) with the ChatGPT add-on.
Aiming to provide faster performance and easier access with the ChatGPT plugin, Nothing will release the plugin for Phone (1) and Phone (2a) at the end of this month. The manufacturer, which will announce ChatGPT integration to its Ear and Ear (a) products in June, seems to have artificial intelligence support behind it.

ChatGPT Integration
- The following features are available in the latest ChatGPT version installed from Play Store:
- Added a new gesture option to Nothing X to initiate a voice conversation with ChatGPT for Ear and Ear (a). We will be here with our other audio products very soon.
- New ChatGPT widgets have been added to launch ChatGPT in different modes from your home screen for faster access.
- Added a button to the screenshot and dashboard popup to paste content directly into a new chat in ChatGPT.
New features
- The camera now supports Ultra XDR. To adjust, go to Camera settings > Ultra XDR.
- Photo and Portrait Modes in the Camera app now have an HDR switch. Enable or disable via settings above.
- RAM Booster feature added. To set it up, go to Settings > System > RAM Booster.
- Added Ring Mode option to Quick Settings for easier audio management.
- A new Recorder widget has been added for effortless audio recording on the go.
- A new Battery widget has been introduced to monitor power usage more efficiently.
- Added Glyph UI Debug Mode to developer options.

- Improved system stability, NFC functionality and Wi-Fi connection stability.
