Nominees for the 80th Golden Globe Awards Announced

The nominees for this year’s Golden Globe Awards, one of the biggest award ceremonies in the cinema world, have been announced. The Banshees of Inisherin and Everything Everywhere All at Once dominated the list.

The nominees from many different branches of the Golden Globe Awards, which will be held for the 80th time this year, have been announced. The ceremony, which is considered one of the most prestigious awards in the cinema world and the precursor of the Oscar, will be held on January 10, 2023 in Beverly Hills, California.

The black comedy The Banshees of Inisher, written and directed by Irish director Martin McDonagh, dominated the list with 8 nominations, including a nomination for best picture in a comedy or musical. On the other hand, Everything Everywhere All At Once, which was a great success this year, also managed to receive six nominations. The Fablemans, Babylon and Elvis were also noteworthy productions. James Cameron’s Avatar: The Way of Water, which will be released in the coming days, also managed to receive nominations.
