No more free beds: 23 corona patients were relocated | Regional

Rottal-Inn – No more free beds!

Last Friday, the Rottal-Inn clinics relocated 23 patients with the help of around 50 volunteers and 19 vehicles from the Bavarian Red Cross (BRK) to North Bavarian clinics. According to BILD information, some patients were brought to Cobug.

There were also four intensive care patients. The mission began in the early afternoon and lasted around five hours.

▶ ︎ The Innkliniken write on Instagram: “The relocation was necessary because the Rottal-Inn Kliniken reached the limit of the supply options for Covid-19 patients due to the high incidence figures in the district. This created new opportunities for action on site in order to continue to ensure patient care. “

► The Rottal-Inn district is one of the worst hotspots in Germany – the incidence on Wednesday was 1298.0.

Dr. Klaus Kienle, Medical Director of the Rottal-Inn Kliniken, expressly thanked us for the unusual commitment of the BRK’s emergency services: “The BRK and its volunteers have given us tremendous support. We are very grateful for this. “
