With its increasing popularity in 2021, the world of television has finally joined the NFT craze, which manifests itself in all areas.
South Korea-based technology giant Samsung, which started 2022 with innovations, announced that the smart TVs it will release this year will have NFT feature.

Thanks to the new feature that Samsung has added to TVs, users will be able to browse the NFT market, examine and purchase NFTs.
In the announcement made by the company, it was stated that the NFT application will be found in Samsung’s 2022 model Micro LED, Neo QLED and The Frame series.
Apart from the NFT Platform application, Samsung, which actively invests in NFT and Metaverse projects through Samsung Next, stated that the details about the NFT platform will be announced in the coming months.
Samsung has also become the first major television manufacturer to support NFTs with its new service.
In 2021, many giant names other than Samsung announced that they participated in the NFT craze. Payments giant Visa bought the NFT collection called “Crypto Punk” for $150,000.
