Netflix, which is the most used digital content platform with more than 200 million subscribers, last April, for those who can’t find anything to watch. “Play Something” launched the feature. This feature, which opens random series and movies based on what you’ve watched before, is useful as well as being criticized for something.
When you press the Play Something button, you do not know in advance whether the content that will be opened is a series or a movie, and its type. This can unintentionally cause you to come across a type of content that you don’t like. The new feature added to Netflix’s home page will make it easier to find a TV show/movie to watch.

The digital broadcasting platform has updated its computer version. Now just above the “Today’s Top 10 List in Turkey” section on Netflix’s home page TV series, movie and documentary recommendations will come out. You can find the players, subject etc. by hovering over the content you like and clicking More Info. You will be able to learn the details quickly.
In addition, when you press the “Play” button, you will be able to open the content easily. The best part of the newly recommended section is; ‘Engaging’, ‘Prank’, ‘True Crime Checkers’ with expressions such as ‘True Crime Checkers’ shows the type. In this way, you can more easily decide whether the content in question appeals to your taste.
Netflix has yet to bring this feature to the Android or iOS app. It’s only available in the Web version for now and may not have come to you as it’s being rolled out gradually. Check specific, the recommended section will be added to the home page when it reaches you.
Midnight became the agenda at Pera Palas
Netflix finally made a splash in Turkey with its new Turkish series, Midnight in Pera Palas. The production, in which Hazal Kaya, Selahattin Paşalı and Tansu Biçer took the leading roles, became the number one agenda on social media with the scene where the journalist Esra character hugs Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in the last episode.
