The United States District Judge granted the SEC’s request for an extension of time for all parties to submit their reply petitions.

Recently, attorney James Deaton reported that the SEC had filed a request for an extension of the deadline for all parties to submit their response petitions.

Recently, Veri DAO requested to provide an amicus brief in the SEC-Ripple case. Data DAO members faced an SEC lawsuit in 2019. Before that, an online cryptocurrency wallet service Cryptillian Payment Systems asked the court to present an amicus brief in the XRP lawsuit.

The SEC has requested that the deadline for the parties to submit their sealed responses be extended to November 30. It also requested that the deadline for submission of additional amicus motions be set as November 11. Accordingly, the Court granted the SEC’s request and extended the deadline for submission of replies. Details shared by case attorney James Filan are as follows:

“The deadline for submission of response summaries is November 30, 2022, and the deadline for submission of Amicus summaries is November 11, 2022.”

Previously, the XRP community had expected a decision on the SEC’s and Ripple’s summary resolutions to be made by November 18. Now, the submission deadline for response summaries has been extended to 30 November.
