Citroen is preparing to launch the new e-C3, the fully electric version of the renewed C3 model, in Turkey in September. The new e-C3, the first fully electric B-Hatchback model produced in Europe, aims to attract attention with its affordable price. So what will it offer to its users?

The new e-C3 was developed based on Stellantis’ Smart Car Platform. In this way, it will be at much more affordable prices. In this way, Citroen aims to increase the New e-C3’s electric vehicle sales and increase its share in total sales to 10 percent. This rate is planned to be increased to 20 percent with the New C3, whose hybrid version will also be offered for sale next year.
Reflecting Citroen’s new design language, the New e-C3 maintains its compact dimensions with a length of 4.01 meters and a width of 1.76 meters. The vehicle, which draws attention with its 17-inch diamond-cut wheels and renewed front and rear design details, also offers comfort and spaciousness in the interior. Comfort is highlighted with Citroen Advanced Comfort seats and rear seats offering 20 mm more leg room. The 310-litre trunk volume provides enough space for daily use.

The car offers a range of up to 440 km in urban use with its 44 kWh capacity LFP battery. The New e-C3, which can be charged from 20 percent to 80 percent in 26 minutes with 100 kW DC fast charging, can be charged in approximately 2 hours and 50 minutes with 11 kW AC charging. With its 83 kW (113 HP) electric motor and automatic transmission, the New e-C3 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 11 seconds and can reach a maximum speed of 135 km/h.
Citroen will also offer the New C3 with 48V hybrid technology. The hybrid system, in which a 100 HP power-producing gasoline engine and an electric motor work together, offers low fuel consumption and emission values.
The new e-C3 aims to offer a comfortable driving experience with Citroen Advanced Comfort suspension and seats. The car, which comes with a spacious interior, 10.25-inch infotainment screen, Citroën Head-Up Display, wireless charging, rear view camera and advanced driving support systems, will be available in 5 different body color options: White, Blue, Red, Gray and Black.
