Motor Vehicles Tax (MTV) will be doubled from newly registered vehicles until the end of 2023. According to the statement, additional Motor Vehicles Tax will be paid in 2023 for one time only. ”In order to be used in meeting the financing need arising in order to reduce the effects of the earthquakes that occurred in Kahramanmaraş on 6/02/2023, in the 5th, 6th and temporary 8th articles of the Motor Vehicles Tax Law No. 197 (1), (IA), (II) Vehicles subject to tax according to tariffs numbered and (IV) and registered and registered in the relevant registry on the date of publication of this Law, and vehicles that will be registered and registered for the first time in the relevant registries from the date of publication of this Law until 31/12/2023, for once only. , for the year 2023 up to the amount of motor vehicle tax accrued subject to additional motor vehicle tax.”
With the statement made, it is underlined that the additional motor vehicle tax is in order to reduce the impact of earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş.
