Riga After the Ukrainian armed forces were able to recapture large areas from the Russian invaders last weekend, many experts now expect further offensives. Opinions are divided on the question of how sustainable the successes of the Ukrainian military are.

Toms Rostoks, director of the Center for Security and Strategic Research at the National Defense Academy of Latvia in Riga, has been researching Russia’s military doctrine for years. He considers the current successes of the Ukrainian military to be sustainable. However, they do not allow any conclusions to be drawn about future offensives, according to Rostoks.
