Microsoft Edge is getting a feature that other browsers don’t!

Light/dark theme transitions of popular apps have become very popular in recent years. Some apps even offered different designs according to the theme color. Finally Microsoft Edge for new and a darker dark theme started testing.

“Dark mode” on the way for Microsoft Edge

First images of Microsoft Edge’s new dark mode from Twitter shared. The browser, which currently offers two general views, light and dark, wants to keep up with the low-light environments with the “darker mode”.

The dark theme for Edge was first tested in 2019. Over time, Microsoft introduced several features that allow users to enable dark mode on websites they visit, making it easier to navigate in low-light environments.

A feature that is active by default in the Microsoft Edge browser threatens users’ privacy. Here are the details

Switching between the two skins has been made easier with an update in 2022. Microsoft has also introduced a dark theme to the context menus in window mode for a consistent look across the browser.

Microsoft is now on Edge Canary wants to diversify this look by testing a darker theme. Image shared on Twitter; revealed that tab, tool, favorites and sidebar went completely black. Also, the vertical tabs section will turn black. The screenshots stand out as they were tested with a dark background.

Microsoft is expected to offer both the current dark theme and the new dark theme to users at the same time. However, it is not clear when it will be available to the general public.
