Microsoft Teams is a platform that combines videoconferencing and videophone, workplace chat, meetings, notes, and plug-ins.
Mesh, a collaborative platform for virtual experiences, will come directly to Microsoft Teams next year. The initiative is the result of the company’s effort to combine mixed reality and HoloLens work with meetings and video calls that everyone can attend, thanks to animated avatars.
Microsoft Teams will quickly create new 3D avatars into the metaverse, and you won’t need to wear a VR headset to use them. These avatars will fully represent you in both 2D and 3D meetings. So you can choose to have an animated version of yourself if you don’t want to open your webcam.
It seems that Microsoft is making an effort to create a metadatabase specifically for businesses. Microsoft envisions creating virtual spaces within Teams where people can network and socialize with games, or even use Microsoft apps to collaborate on projects.
Although there is no linear connection between the metaverse projects in the crypto money markets and the projects that the technology giants will create for themselves, they think that the continuation of the hype in this field will reflect positively on the Metaverse projects.
