MetaMask Claims The Problem Is Caused By The Infura Service They’re Working With

The project’s official Twitter account said in a statement:

“Some of the configurations we had to change due to new sanctions directives from the United States and other countries were applied to a larger area than they should have been due to an error. This was something we overlooked and we are grateful for letting us know. After we figured out what the problem was, we fixed it, and our service continues to work in the current situation.”
