Messaging problem between iPhone and Android!

The messaging experience between Android and iPhone devices has been discussed for a long time. iPhone users can communicate using iMessage, while Android users can choose RCS to text each other. However, if both parties do not use an internet-supported messaging application, sending SMS remains the only solution. It seems that there have been some difficulties in this regard lately.

iPhone users can’t send messages to Android devices

Recently, many iPhone users on Reddit and Twitter have stated that there is an additional “+” sign at the beginning of the phone number in the text messages they receive from Android or Google Voice users. This causes the Messages app to classify the number as international and transfer the conversation to a separate chat section. In addition, iPhone users cannot reply to incoming texts because messages cannot be forwarded due to the wrong number.

The problem seems to affect iPhone users, especially those using AT&T’s US network. On the other hand, we can say that any Android device is not affected. While this error is thought to be caused by a problem on the AT&T side, it is stated that it is not caused by the iOS 16.5 update released yesterday.

iOS 16.5 and iPadOS 16.5 are released! What came?

Today, Apple has released the iOS 16.5 update, the latest version of the operating system it has developed for iPhone users. What came?

Some iPhone users point to resetting the phone’s network settings as a possible solution. However, let us remind you that this may cause some of your data to be lost. On the other hand, this problem has brought Apple’s not adding RCS support to the iMessage application once again. Users state that if this support is included in iPhone models, they will not encounter such a problem.

Android users, on the other hand, have nothing to do to fix this problem. Except of course forcing your friends to switch to Android device. So what do you think about this messaging problem between iPhone and Android devices? You can share your views with us in the comments section.
