On Wednesday, Shiba Inu’s head of marketing, Lucie, shared a list of upgrades to Shibarium that will launch this year and into 2025. This list included SHIB Metaverse, another iteration of the Shiba Eternity game, and ShibaSwap DEX 1.75 (and subsequently version 2.0). New projects planned to be implemented on Shibarium include the layer-3 test network and the TREAT token, which will power the new blockchain that will run on Shibarium.
The SHIB team recently raised $12 million from major investors to start building its layer-3 solution. The SHIB leader, known as Shytoshi Kusama on social media, recently explained why she has been moving around frequently on the X app for the past few months. It has been spotted in various US cities, including Dubai, Hong Kong, Maldives and New York.
