The court took the statements of 30 complainants who attended today’s hearings. 28 of them stated that they learned about the system from social media, friends or television commercials. of 30 customers 28 of them complained about the defendants While expressing that, 2 of the complainants did not complain about the defendants. At the hearing, Mehmet Aydın also made very important statements.

“In case the system was shut down, the money would be paid within 90 days, we could not pay when we complained unexpectedly”

Mehmet Aydın, after the complainants who said they saw Çiftlik Bank in TV commercials never advertised on television stated. Aydın made the following statement on this subject:

“We didn’t advertise as “make a deposit”. Only within Çiftlik Bank We advertised products. We did not advertise here as an incentive to deposit money. In the contract signed for the system, it was stated that the money would be paid within 90 working days if the system was shut down. We could not make the payment when the complaint was made without waiting for this period.”

Fatih Aydın: “I did not live abroad as a fugitive”

Mehmet Aydın’s brother, Fatih Aydın, also stated that the complainants in the courtroom don’t know any and made the following statements:

“I didn’t take a penny from any of them. They voluntarily started a job in my brother’s company, and they started to get their money. They slander us as scammers. They were already getting their money back, they were happy with everything. We formed an organization. I do not accept these accusations. I have not lived abroad as a fugitive.. I have a family, I have children. I had a work permit. I did not spend money on my brother’s companies, I did not make assets. I worked for my brother’s company for minimum wage.”

After this statement, Fatih Aydın, who was caught in Uruguay and brought to Turkey, was addressed by the President of the Court, Ali Günay.How did you live in Uruguay then?” he posed the question. Fatih Aydın answered this question as follows:

“When I lived in Uruguay, I worked as a kiosk and takeaway. My three children are currently cared for by the state of Uruguay. Interpol already knows this. There is no concrete evidence that I am committing fraud. I would also like to learn about this concrete proof.”

Mehmet Aydın made a statement about his assets:

The President of the Court Günay asked the accused Mehmet Aydın, “Do you have any assets abroad? So how many are there in Uruguay and Cyprus?” posed the question. Aydın made the following statement:

“In total I had 34 million lira assets, 4 years ago. Its value has now increased. If I am acquitted from here, I can also take my assets there. Because it was confiscated there too.”

“We do not know them. They won our trust with their advertisements. We invested but did not get our money. I deposited 500-odd thousand liras. How will my loss be compensated? I sold my watch for a living. I am a graduate of 3 universities. They made us believe. I was suicidal 3 years ago. Will Mehmet Aydın be able to answer them?”

Aydın asked for his assets to be determined:

Aydın wanted to determine how much his assets were worth at the hearing. The President of the Court, Günay, announced that first there would be an expert examination to determine the extent of the damage to the victims, and then the defendants would be examined by the expert. Thereupon, Aydın used the following statements:

“According to my calculations, I have assets of over 200 million liras. It is at a level that will compensate the damage of the customers.“

Fatih Aydın, on the other hand, used the following statements in another statement:

“I still don’t really understand why I’m in detention. I read the case file. You let out people who worked for the company and stole from my brother.. I wonder why am I here. I want my release.”

The other pending defendants, who were promised at the hearing, did not accept the charges. The delegation decided to continue the detention of Mehmet Aydın and Fatih Aydın in 3 separate cases. While the continuation of the arrest warrants for the two fugitives was ruled, it was decided to issue an arrest warrant for the accused Hakan Soysal in order to take his defense. The hearing was adjourned to make up for the deficiencies.
