Amazon spends record on Lord of the Rings series!

According to the information revealed today, Amazon will pay a record level for the Lord of the Rings series. It is said that only season 1 has a budget of 465 million dollars. In addition, the purchase of the broadcast rights cost 250 million dollars.
The total box office revenue of the original trilogy of the series was $2.92 billion. However, the total budget of these three films was around 281 million dollars. So Amazon allocates a budget of 5 movies only for the first season. In addition, according to the agreement, at least 5 seasons will be filmed. Moreover, it has already been announced that the second season has been ordered.
