Liverpool FC: Firmino lets Klopp shine – football

The series lasted.

Jürgen Klopp (54) and Liverpool FC remain unbeaten in the Premier League after eight match days.

With three goals from Brazilian international Roberto Firmino, the Reds clearly win 5-0 at Watford FC and have overtaken leaders Chelsea (16) with 18 points, at least for the time being. However, Thomas Tuchel’s Tuchel team can climb back to first place in the evening (6.30 p.m. / here in the live ticker) with a success at the newly promoted FC Brentford.

Before the difficult Champions League away game on Tuesday at Atlético Madrid (9 p.m.), the Klopp-Elf dominated the game at will in the debut of Watford coach Claudio Ranieri. After a pass from Mohamed Salah’s outside instep, Sadio Mané made it 1-0 without any problems (9th minute).

The former Hoffenheim Firmino (37./52.) Made the preliminary decision with his goals. After striker Salah increased to 4-0 with a remarkable individual performance (54th), Firmino scored his third goal shortly before the end.
