LinkedIn is entering the gaming industry! Here are the details

Elon Musk recently announced that they have activated the job posting feature as part of their plan to turn X (Twitter) into a super application. In response, Microsoft started working on adding games to the LinkedIn platform to appeal to more users. Here are the details…

LinkedIn started testing its gaming feature

Owned by Microsoft, LinkedIn was founded primarily for people looking to network and gain knowledge for professional purposes. The platform, which is frequently used for job postings today, has rolled up its sleeves so that users can spend more time.

TechCrunch has learned and confirmed that LinkedIn is working on a new gaming experience. It turns out it will do this by riding the same wave of puzzle crazes that helped simple games like Wordle reach viral success and millions of players.

Instagram is working on a feature called Spins for Reels. With this feature, it will be possible to share a video in different ways.

It is estimated that the new feature, which will first start with games called “Queens”, “Inference” and “Crossclimb”, will include hundreds of games in the future. Reverse engineers managed to find clues about games on LinkedIn.

Researcher Nima Owji said one idea LinkedIn is trying is to organize player ratings by workplace and “rank” companies based on those scores. A LinkedIn spokesperson confirmed that it is working on the game but noted that there is no launch date yet.

Commenting on the subject, a LinkedIn spokesperson said, “We are working on adding puzzle-based games to the LinkedIn experience to unlock some fun, deepen relationships, and hopefully spark conversation opportunities. Stay tuned!” said.
