Faruk Fatih Özer, who allegedly fled with the money of the users after the collapse of the crypto money exchange Thodex, was sentenced to 7 months and 15 days in prison by the court for smuggling.
The court decided to defer the announcement of the verdict.

Özer was arrested in Albania in August following a red notice issued by Interpol. Özer was extradited to Turkey in April.
