Berlin – Since the Jack Russell Terrier was kidnapped in front of a dm branch on Garbatyplatz (Pankow district) on September 9th, Berliners have been excited and on the lookout!
The dog is searched for in real life as well as on the Internet. His owners Rike (31) and Felix Brandts (37) really do EVERYTHING to get their little male back.

“We are desperate, but we do not give up hope. The help from Berlin is overwhelming. With every sighting we are informed in real time. But we don’t have our Oscar back yet, ”Rike Brandts told BILD.
The owners promise a total reward of 5000 euros to those who bring their loved ones back to them!

The first thing Brandts did was file a theft report with the police. And then they called for help on all social networks. A huge search began under the hashtag #findetoskar and is still going on.
With the help of the Berliners, the act and perpetrators could be researched. Oskar was leashed in front of the drugstore for only four minutes on the day of his kidnapping.
But at that very moment, a 12-year-old grabbed the leash and took the animal with him. “We were able to find him and talk to him.”

Then the news that a car hit him. In addition, there were of course mix-ups, which led to the dogs Max, Digga and Mogyi being mistaken for Oskar.

The family is currently working with a Pettrailer. She advised to lay a trail that Oskar could sniff out and thus find home.
For a few nights, Rike Brandts drew a 4.9-kilometer trail from Mitte, the last sighting site to date, to Pankow.
“I pulled a T-shirt that we had worn or a roast chicken behind me on a string. I had mixed his dog food with water in a bottle and sprayed it on. All smells that Oskar can associate with his home. “
