Stating that he has some cryptocurrency, the famous actor said, “A friend of mine bought some cryptocurrency for me a while ago.” Stating that he did not handle the crypto money in his hand, Reeves said that he had HODLed, which means keeping the ones in his hands not to sell.
Answering questions about the metaverse, the “Matrix” video game, and NFTs in the aforementioned interview, Reeves also talked about his doubts about NFTs. When asked what he thought of “digital scarcity” and “things that cannot be copied,” he replied “things that are easily replicated.”

The 100,000 NFT series was launched to promote the film’s launch last month. NFTs of Matrix-themed avatars went on sale for $50 per coin. Each NFT offers the option to take a red pill or a blue pill, reflecting one of the movie’s most historic moments.
