Kawasaki officials announced that the company will launch its first electric motorcycle models soon. The company stated that they were inspired by Ninja 400 and Z400 in the design of the new models it developed.
Kawasaki announced that they included a 5kW electric motor in both models. The electric motor used can produce 9kW power during the first movement.

Ninja e-1 and Z e-1 models will be available to users with two different driving modes: eco and road. Both engines have a “Boost” button for rapid acceleration with instant power increase.
Motorcycles can reach a speed of 64 km/h in eco driving mode and an instantaneous speed of 74 km/h when the boost button is used. Both models can reach a continuous speed of 88 km/h in road driving mode and an instantaneous speed of 105 km/h when the boost button is used.
The company stated that both models will come with 2 removable 1.5kW batteries. Their total battery capacity of 3kW offers a range of 66 km in standard use.
The batteries, which weigh 11.4 kg, can reach full capacity in 4 hours with a 220 Volt charging adapter. The charging time of the batteries from 20 percent to 80 percent is only 2 hours.
