Jack Dorsey Speaks About Bitcoin at Microstrategy Conference

Jack Dorsey spoke at the Microstrategy conference about bitcoin adoption live for the first time since stepping down as CEO of Twitter to run payments company Block.

Speaking with Michael Saylor at MicroStrategy’s “Bitcoin for Corporations” conference on February 1, 2022, Jack Dorsey said in his speech:

Dorsey also spoke at the conference about Meta’s stablecoin project, Diem. Saying that the company started Diem for probably logical reasons, Dorsey said, “They should have worked on an open-ended protocol like Bitcoin instead of trying to create their own currency, so they wasted their time.”
