It has also infiltrated the cockpit: The era of artificial intelligence in aviation!

Artificial intelligence technology, whose popularity is increasing, has begun to be integrated into many different areas where it can benefit humanity. The technology, which has started to be used in airplanes, which are among the most common means of transportation today, is used to increase flight safety. Here are the details

Artificial intelligence takes the harmony between the pilot and the plane to the top!

A project carried out by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), one of the most successful universities in the world, demonstrates an innovative approach for the aviation industry. The system called “Air-Guardian”, developed by the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) affiliated with the institute, provides a more reliable flight experience by enriching the interaction between the pilot and the aircraft.

During the operation, Air-Guardian aims to monitor the pilot’s attention and movements and prevent possible errors, while on the other hand, it analyzes the data it receives from the aircraft and conveys important information and warnings to the pilot.

UÇAKSAN made an agreement with a Pakistani company for the TROY T400 civil aircraft model. Within the scope of the agreement, 5+5 aircraft will be exported.

The system, which makes the job of pilots much easier with the data it provides, takes flight safety to the highest level by analyzing potential risks that may be encountered during the flight and taking precautions in advance.

Although the project in question has been developed mainly for airline vehicles at the moment, its scope is not limited to these only. The research team, which plans to include sea and road vehicles in the testing process in the medium term, aims to take full advantage of the advantages that artificial intelligence technology can offer humanity.

So, what do you think about this issue? Do you think the project will be able to raise flight safety to a higher level by preventing potential human-caused risks? You can share your opinions with us in the comments section.
