Is it necessary to have a vaccination in Germany?

Until recently, many politicians had ruled out a general compulsory vaccination, now Olaf Scholz has announced it for March 2022 at the latest. What do you think of that, Professor Graumann?
The compulsory vaccination as a last resort is justified because we need a vaccination rate of 85 to 90 percent in order not to repeatedly get caught in new waves of pandemics. It is right and also honest to talk about it now. But before the vaccination becomes compulsory, there is still considerable need for political action.
