For those who don’t know, Apple did not equip all iPhone models with the same processor in 2022 for the first time. The iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max are powered by the 4nm A16 Bionic, while the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus were based on the previous year’s 5nm A15 Bionic chip.
The company continued this trend in 2023, but equipped the iPhone 15 Pro series with a processor built on a 3nm chip, which it calls A17 Pro. We should point out that iPhone 15 and 15 Plus are powered by A16 Bionic.
