Intel heats up competition with H-series

Introducing the 12th Generation processors a while ago, the company finally took the step for the highly anticipated mobile processors. The company, which came up with three different mobile processors this year, H, P and U, worked specifically for those who want to find the balance between performance and portability.

The P series, which is the highest performance and game-oriented, draws 45W power, while the P series, which focuses a little more on mobility, draws 28W. The U series, which cares most about portability, needs energy between 15 and 9W. The most striking of these is the H series, while the P series draws attention with its positioning between performance and portability.

Compared to the previous generation, these processors provide a performance increase of 10 to 20 percent. This can go up to 40 percent in certain usage areas. At the same time, modern technologies such as Wi-Fi 6E come into our lives with these new generation processors. In addition, technologies such as DDR5 and LP5 also appear in this series. Artificial intelligence acceleration, 3D modeling and shorter render times are among the technologies that entered our lives with these processors.

When we look at the list, we see 8 different H series processors. The highest performing of these is the Intel i9-12900HK with 20 Tensor cores and a frequency of 5.0 GHz, while the lowest performing is the i5-12450H with 12 Tensor cores at a frequency of 4.4 GHz. If we look at the values offered by even the lowest performance processor, it is possible to say that the H series will take the competition to the next level.

According to the company’s claim, we are facing the fastest mobile processors ever made. At the same time, the processors, which have improved in terms of gaming compared to the previous generation, promise 28 percent better performance. The company announced that they are carrying out a special study on software for this job and that they attach importance to this as much as the hardware. At the same time, H series processors will be strengthened in the EVO and VPro series.

So what do you think about this subject? Do you think Intel will be able to take the lead again in the competition between the H series and AMD? You can share your views with us in the comments section.
