This feature is widely used by celebrities and influencers as a way to connect with their fans. But for regular users, it may not be appealing to open the live feed to everyone who follows you.
With this new feature, Instagram allows users to take control over who can see their posts, which may encourage those who haven’t used the feature in the past to give it a try.
