This means that only page admins can post messages in the channel, but participants can react to them and vote in polls. Admins can start a channel directly from their page, and Facebook will then send their followers a one-time notification to join after they send their first message.
According to screenshots shared by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, broadcast channels will appear in users’ Messenger chats under a tab labeled “Channels.” Participants will receive notifications whenever the page owner posts an update, but they can mute the channel at any time.
