SunCrypto, India’s leading cryptocurrency exchange announcement announced that it will give a gift of 150 million Shiba Inu (SHIB). The reason behind this gesture is not exactly known. According to the announcement, 150 million SHIB will be evenly distributed among the 100 lucky winners. With such a gift, SunCrypto customers can help increase the value of this popular meme coin.
Terms of Participation in the SHIB Lottery
Interested participants have some tasks to complete in order to be entered into the SHIB lottery. First, the person who wants to participate in the sweepstakes needs to log in to one of their Email, Facebook, Google Account, Twitter or YouTube. Then, it is necessary to interact with the stock market through these social media platforms. So like following on Twitter, visiting YouTube channel or joining Telegram channel.
Through the said social media platform, users are awarded between two and five points for each completed task.
Details of the Draw
The giveaway, which started on May 3, 2023, is scheduled to end on May 31, 2022. SunCrypto did not specify how the winners of the sweepstakes will receive their SHIB rewards. It is not yet clear whether SunCrypto will ask the winners to create an account on the exchange before receiving their tokens. However, the exchange is expected to announce the distribution process in the coming weeks. At press time, 7,483 entries were registered, 27 days before the event was due.
The exchange did not explain the rationale behind the gift. Such rewards are often made when an exchange lists a cryptocurrency. For example, during the listing of Shiba Inu (SHIB) on Japan-based crypto exchange BitFlyer in March, the exchange announced a similar sweepstakes to celebrate the development.
