Many real estate buyers encounter a major problem when looking for their dream property – because in some regions it is almost impossible to get a new building.
On behalf of Postbank, the experts from the Hamburg Institute for World Economics (HWWI) examined the properties on offer in 401 independent cities and districts to determine when they were built. The results are available to the Handelsblatt in advance. And one thing is clear: in some regions, real estate buyers are not spoiled for choice, but have to take what they can get.
