Stuttgart – The service union Verdi is stepping up its warning strikes in the country’s public service. For the coming week she announced temporary work stoppages in the centers for psychiatry.

The first warning strike is scheduled for next Monday in the center for psychiatry in Wiesloch. The rallies are under the motto “We need the Cäsh”, alluding to the new image campaign “Welcome to the Länd.”
Verdi Country Manager Martin Gross said: “You don’t get skilled workers with advertising campaigns, but with good living and working conditions. In this collective bargaining round, the state can set a good example as an employer, that would be the best advertising campaign. ”
So far, the employers had not submitted an offer in the collective bargaining round. The trade unions are calling for five percent more money for public service workers in the federal states.
At the same time, Verdi and the official association dbb demand a minimum amount of 150 euros per month. According to the announcement in the southwest, the employees in the centers for psychiatry are affected by the special demand of 300 euros for employees in the health sector.
Verdi official Irene Gölz, who is responsible for health and social affairs, said that apparently the pandemic for the finance ministers was already over. “That is disrespectful to the employees in the centers of psychiatry.”
In Baden-Württemberg, according to the Ministry of Finance, almost 100,000 employees and almost 190,000 civil servants are affected by collective bargaining. The conclusion is to be transferred to the latter and recipients of pension payments.
