IGG extended a helping hand to the earthquake area

Turkey was shaken by earthquakes of 7.7 and 7.6 magnitudes centered in Kahramanmaraş on February 6. The earthquake, which showed its effect in a large region covering 11 provinces, shocked the whole of Turkey as one of the biggest destructions of the century we lived in. Singapore-based IGG, the producer of world-famous games such as Lords Mobile, also extended a helping hand to Turkey to heal its wounds after this great disaster. IGG provided $200,000 worth of aid to the earthquake area.

$200,000 worth of support to the earthquake zone from IGG and Lords Mobile

IGG, whose games have a large player base in Turkey, took action to help the region right after the earthquake. With the messages of condolence and support prepared by the teams of Singapore, China and Turkey in the hope that they will lead the game industry, aid trucks moved to the earthquake zone last week.

In the joint message shared by the IGG China and Turkey teams on February 9, “…In order to be with our people, as the IGG team, we hope that our truck, which is moving to the earthquake zone today by our Chinese team, will reach those in need as soon as possible. However, as the Turkey team, we hope that the aid we set out today will lead to the further growth of aid to be a balm for the wounds of our people. The continuation of our aid will continue according to the lists of needs shared by the authorized institutions and will be delivered to those in need.

Lords Mobile players will volunteer

In this context, IGG China and Turkey teams announced that they will provide $200,000 in kind aid to the earthquake region in their new messages. The IGG team, which will deliver the aid in batches to the earthquake area, asked for support from its players to ensure that the materials reach those in need. As a result of the message shared on the Lords Mobile Facebook page, the volunteers and IGG employees got together and prepared the aid packages and sent them to the regions.

The IGG team expressed that they are with the people of Turkey and that they hope that the aid will provide support to those in need in the earthquake area. Expressing that they will continue to provide assistance until the wounds are healed, IGG said, “We once again offer our condolences to those who lost their relatives in the earthquake, and wish the injured to recover as soon as possible.” He once again conveyed his condolences.
