Berlin Ms. Tichanovskaya, during your visit to Berlin this week you said that seeing the remains of the Wall gives you hope. Why?
Today the Berlin Wall is a symbol of resistance and hope. The people in the GDR have been working towards finally tearing them down for a long time. The same goes for the people of Belarus. In our country the wall is invisible, but we fight. We will not give up. This persistence is our weapon. And we will tear down the wall in our country.
