Renault Clio has started to hit the roads with its renewed facelift version. Clio, whose Turkey prices we shared recently, actually appeared with an engine option that can be considered a first in its history. Taking its share from Renault’s electrification steps, Clio was offered to customers with a hybrid engine option for the first time. Here is the hybrid Renault Clio and its in-depth details…
New Renault Clio E-Tech full hybrid!
Clio is probably Renault’s longest-driving car on the world’s roads. Clio is sold in many different countries with completely different combinations. Especially in countries like Turkey where Clio is produced, fleet rental is a price-performance product for those looking for a low-budget family vehicle. However, the renewed Clio this year appeared with a completely different option.
This year, after Megane E-Tech, Austral and the renewed Scenic, Renault Clio E-Tech welcomed us. With this newly added hybrid option to the Renault Clio family, we can say that Clio’s electrification journey has begun. Because the name E-Tech greets us as the general name of the cars used by Renault in its electrification journey.
Equipment, price and gasoline engine options of the renewed Clio By clicking here you can reach. In this news, we will talk about the E-Tech Hybrid engine, which will be the cornerstone of Clio.
E-Tech hybrid technology, which has a 4-cylinder and 1.6-liter naturally aspirated engine, offers a total of 145 Hp power with its electric motor. Clio, which has a torque value of 148 Nm when used only with its gasoline atmospheric engine, produces a total of 205 Nm of torque when its electric motor is activated. In short, we can say that we are faced with a powerful B hatchback.
Renault offers us 4.2 liters of fuel data in mixed use for the new hybrid technology Clio. It has a very low fuel consumption compared to today’s vehicles and the 1.0 TCE gasoline units of the previous version Clio. In addition, the car continues on its way with “0” fuel consumption thanks to its full electric mode that you can use in the city.
Another important detail about the hybrid unit of the new Clio is that the vehicle is a full hybrid car, not a mild hybrid. In other words, Clio’s electric engine does not support its internal combustion engine. It directly powers the car. We can understand this by having the fully electric driving mode we mentioned above.
In this way, the car provides regenerative power gain during braking. In other words, the power lost during braking is regained. Thanks to the battery’s regenerative power gain, there is no need to charge it. The car also has a range of 900 kilometers.
