As of last week, the Shibarium network attracted attention with more than 63,000 account registrations. This number shows that the network has doubled the number of user accounts since the beginning of December.
According to Shibariumscan data, account growth is tracked through externally owned accounts (EOAs) created on the network and managed with a unique private key. This is one of the best ways to measure the number of users on a network.
These developments reveal that Shibarium has gained tens of thousands of users in the blockchain field in a short time. The network’s low transaction fees and enabling decentralized applications (dApps) help bring new users to the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
Shibarium is also becoming increasingly attractive for developers. Smart contracts form the basis of most decentralized applications, and users fulfill the conditions set through these contracts. As of December 1, Shibarium added 749 new smart contracts, with at least two new contracts joining the network daily during this time. In particular, it was seen that 59 new contracts were added on January 21.
The growing popularity of Shibarium could push the price of Shiba Inu (SHIB) higher as developers burn some of the tokens earned from gas fees paid by users. The team has already burned more than 43.55 billion tokens in order to increase prices and continues to take steps in this direction.
