Huawei leaves the European market!

Problems in the smartphone market also started after the US blacklisted the Chinese brand Huawei. Today US technologyis at the center of smartphones all over the world. For this reason, the USA’s statement that a brand cannot use its own technology causes great problems for that brand.

The sustainability of the brand, which continued to survive despite the ban, was short-lived. At this point Huawei chairman Yu Chengdongstated that the company does not compete in the mobile phone market. Instead, the president expressed that he only wanted to survive. One of the big consequences of the US ban had its effect in Europe.

One of the problems experienced is on the chips. The challenge is Huawei’s 4G chips it is using. Because some of the USA 5G patents have significant control over it. However, considering that 5G is not fully developed yet, it seems likely that Huawei will upgrade its 4G network to 5G level. However, the marketing part is an important problem.

Currently, Huawei’s presence in the European market is dwindling and there seems to be no hope of recovery. The most important reason for this is that the Chinese brand does not have the resources to fight against constant neglect.

In addition to all this, its collaborators in Europe, as well as in the USA, see Huawei as a ‘security risk’. It has also been debated in Europe for years whether the Chinese company’s technology should be allowed in its critical communications infrastructure.
