Under the agreement, Changan Auto will own 40 percent of the new venture. The joint venture, whose name has not yet been determined, smart automotive systems and will carry out the R&D, production, sales and service of its components. These areas include smart cockpits, driver assistance technologies and electric vehicle powertrains.
