HP introduced its new products at CES 2022!

The CES 2022 Consumer Electronics Show held in Las Vegas will begin hosting physical activities on January 5. However, many companies said that they will not provide physical participation as they did last year due to COVID-19. However, new devices and technologies continue to appear in the digital environment every hour. HP, on the other hand, introduced its highly anticipated new products at the event it organized.

CES 2022 will close a day early!

The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) announced that the CES 2022 fair will close a day early due to the increase in Covid-19 cases in the USA.

HP showed up at CES with its new products

  • Elite Dragonfly G3 (Windows 11)
  • Elite Dragonfly Chromebook (Chrome OS)
  • EliteBook 800 & 805 series G9
  • EliteBook 1000 series G9
  • M-series Webcam
  • E series conference monitors
  • Envy Desktop
  • Z2 Mini G9 Desktop
  • Z34c ultra wide curved monitor
  • Z40c G3 ultra-wide curved 5K and 2K Thunderbolt monitors
  • ZBook Firefly G9

In its event, HP said that it produces devices suitable for every user type and gathers them under the roof of different platforms. For example, while Envy models appeal to those who work from home and normal users, the Z platform has emerged as devices developed mostly for professionals. In this way, the company included these new devices under different groups into its ecosystem.

The company offers different solutions for those who work from home or remotely, especially in this pandemic period, although its impact has decreased. For example, you can think of the Z2 Mini model as a compact computer that you can take with you by connecting it to any monitor or TV. Similarly, it is possible to think of the Z34c and Z40 series monitors for designers who carry their work at home, and the E series as the version developed for white-collar workers.

In addition, HP emphasized that users now work much more without being tied to a specific location and order than before, and therefore it is important that every environment they are in can turn into a conference room for them. At this point, it was said that especially during the call, the microphone received little or completely blocked external sound, and similarly, the image in the background of the user could be adapted to the environment.

Physically, we see that HP’s new generation devices, especially the Dragonfly series, have grown both in screen-to-body ratios and sizes. However, the weight of the devices remains under 1 kilogram. In other words, they are quite thin and light models as they claim. Another feature that users liked was the enlarged keyboard keys and touch pad surface.

When we look at the hardware of the devices, we see that the most up-to-date technologies are used. Products powered by Intel’s 12th generation chip use LPDDR5 technology. It also comes with WiFi 6E standard. In addition, users will be able to purchase 5G supported versions. On the audio side, we come across the Bang & Olufsen collaboration. Of course, it is not yet known whether every product and option introduced will come to our country.

Dragonfly and Chromebook models, on the other hand, target people who are a little more specific. For example, these devices can be used in tablet form by folding them upside down thanks to their touch screens. If you wish, you can also choose the renewed pen for writing and drawing. Unlike the previous series, when you’re done with the pen, you can leave it on the magnetic field next to the device.

My HP and Power Manager

Wanting to positively affect the user experience, HP gathers many features from system updates to sound settings under the My HP application. You will even be able to make some fine adjustments, especially the microphone and camera, before the interviews.

In addition, it is stated that it works in harmony with all applications such as Teams, Zoom or Google Meet. In addition, HP is making its Intelligent Charging feature customizable by users. This means that various settings will now be allowed to be adjusted through HP Power Manager.
