According to the statistics in the report, there are currently more than 3,000 large enterprises in Turkey. In addition, there are 6 unicorns, that is, companies with a value exceeding 1 billion dollars. At this point, Getir, which provides services in several areas such as grocery products and food delivery, and Trendyol, an e-commerce platform, stand out.

Turkey is ahead of rival countries!

In fact, right after our country, which is the leader with 39 billion, is the United Arab Emirates with 35 billion euros. It is followed by Saudi Arabia right after it.

According to the data, more than 140 game development companies in Turkey came to the fore in Europe with an investment of 428 million euros in 2022. These companies showed that they gave confidence by receiving 60 percent more investment than the previous year.

According to a report published in January 2020, Turkey ranked 7th among the countries playing video games worldwide. In January 2023, it rose to 5th place. However, according to official data, 92.3% of internet users in our country play games. This rate is 81.9 percent in the world.

Aside from the gaming industry, startups related to finance, food and transportation also showed a significant rise. So much so that the food industry, in which more than 138 big companies such as Getir compete, received an investment of 736 million euros in 2022.
