Climate change is destroying more and more people’s living space – meanwhile, the traffic light is failing due to its climate policy.

  • The traffic light is currently hardly able to take voters with it on the way to climate neutrality. Technical errors in the legislative proposals and clumsy communication contribute to the division of society.
  • This is also reflected in current polls: the AfD is at a record high, the right fringe is growing stronger and the political center is weakening.
  • At the same time, rising energy prices and expensive heating replacements are shattering the illusion nurtured by politicians that climate protection can be had for free. Climate neutrality suddenly gets a price tag – many think it’s too high.
