How the air heat pump can be installed unobtrusively

Dusseldorf Air source heat pumps are popular with customers. Almost 90 percent of the systems installed last year use ambient heat to heat the house, only just under ten percent geothermal energy. There are various reasons for this: An air heat pump, for example, costs less because it is not necessary to drill a hole or lay a collector in the ground. In addition, air heat pumps are installed faster – drilling companies need at least six months in advance.

However, heat pumps are an aesthetic problem when they are in (front) gardens, right next to front doors or under bedroom windows, “especially in dense living spaces,” says Katja Weinhold from the Federal Heat Pump Association. You can’t always hide them sensibly on the property, because the systems have to be at a certain distance from the border of the neighbor.
