Now the boss of the start-up OpenAI is back in San Francisco and is standing on a stage in the center of the city. He is celebrated. “You are the person who will decide our future,” says well-known technology journalist Emily Chang. The audience laughs and applauds.
Chang’s statement at the “Bloomberg Technology Summit” conference is half joking and half serious. The world has changed since Sam Altman and his team introduced the artificial intelligence (AI) text robot ChatGPT in November.
