How investors can even benefit from corrections in the stock market

Dusseldorf The Dax has been on an upward trend since the end of September. Even the most pessimistic cannot deny that. Since then, the leading index has risen by more than 30 percent and has reached a new high and a higher low compared to the previous month every month since October – the classic definition of a longer-term upward trend.

History also teaches that it will most likely be a successful stock market year. Because with two exceptions, after a weak stock market year like 2022, the leading index always rose in its entire history in the following year. But stock market history also shows that there is likely to be a correction this year, i.e. a decline of at least ten percent.
