How German companies continue to work in Ukraine

Eleven Ukrainian employees went to war.

Lviv Bright sparks fly as two welders attach a steel plate to a beam. The new factory building has already grown to a height of 12 meters since the foundation stone was laid in August 2021. It should reach 52 meters with silos and mixing plants when the new building materials factory of the Bavarian Fixit Group goes into operation next year. The company’s second factory in the Ukraine is currently being built in the village of Pisky near the western Ukrainian metropolis of Lviv – with even greater capacity than the first plant near Kiev.

Fixit is investing twelve million euros. In the middle of the war, even twelve months after February 24, when the troops of Russian warmonger Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine. In the near future, the Bavarian management will even decide on another production line in western Ukraine. If it comes, that would mean investing another 1.5 million euros in silos, mixers and filling plants.
