HONOR has announced the HONOR Magic V, the first 5G powered foldable flagship smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset that promises a new and dynamic performance. Standing out with its advanced ultra-thin hinge structure, the foldable smartphone has a larger outer screen and the new Magic UI 6.0 interface.

The first foldable phone to receive IMAX Enhanced certification
HONOR Magic V, which has a 6.45-inch and 44-degree curved OLED screen when folded, comes across users with a wider 21.3:9 aspect ratio. This makes the phone extremely functional, as the screen looks like a traditional smartphone instead of looking long and narrow. Equipped with an innovative waterdrop hinge, the HONOR Magic V boasts an extra-large 7.9-inch wrinkle-free display when unfolded, promising a tablet-like experience ideal for viewing content, multitasking and boosting productivity while working.
The displays on the HONOR Magic V support 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut and offer up to 1.07 billion colors. Thus, Honor’s foldable smartphone aims to provide audiences with an immersive entertainment experience while watching movies, surfing the Internet or playing games with a screen refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. It should be noted that the HONOR Magic V is also the first foldable smartphone to receive the IMAX Enhanced certification.
Powered by Qualcomm’s completely rebuilt Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 5G processor and powered by the latest Adreno GPU, HONOR Magic V provides a 30 percent increase in GPU performance compared to the previous generation, enabling greater productivity at higher speeds. The smartphone also comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, which increases the overall processing speeds and storage capacity.
Supporting the new LINK Turbo X that offers high download speeds, HONOR Magic V has an intelligent cooling system consisting of the latest third-generation graphene and AI thermal management system to more effectively cool the phone while maintaining efficiency.
Offering stunning photography and videography in three modes, Night, HDR, Zoom, HONOR Magic V continues to make progress with its triple camera array, each with a resolution of 50 MP, as well as a 42 MP front camera supported by artificial intelligence.
Using the latest HONOR Magic UI 6.0, HONOR Magic V introduces a host of advanced, customized innovations to provide an intelligent life experience.

The HONOR Magic V also includes a charging adapter that supports the 66W HONOR SuperCharge, allowing the battery to be charged up to 50 percent in just 15 minutes. HONOR Magic V will be available in black, silver and orange colors.
