HMD Global, the licensee of Nokia phones, is known for reviving iconic models. The latest claims in this context revealed that the iconic Lumia series will return with a renewed design. Information from China, Lumia similar to new design HMD phone revealed.
HMD is developing a phone similar to Nokia Lumia
HMD Global has been developing smartphones under its own brand for a while. Accordingly, it is also working on a new series inspired by Lumia. The official naming of the series will not be Lumia, but it will be similar in terms of design language.
Allegedly inspired by the Nokia Lumia 1520, the device will draw power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 chipset. It will also leave the Windows Phone look by coming out of the box with Android 14. We should also note that it will have an AMOLED screen with FHD + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
Last call from Microsoft for Windows 10!
Support for Windows 10 is ending. Microsoft has said that users will not receive Windows 10 updates anytime soon.
On the camera side, the device is expected to feature a triple setup consisting of 108 Megapixel main and 2 Megapixel auxiliary lenses. It is thought that the front camera will have a resolution of 32 Megapixels. It was stated that HMD will use PureView technology to increase camera performance.
It is said that the renewed Lumia will be powered by a 4900mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. Connectivity options will include Bluetooth 5.2, NFC and dual speakers with OZO Audio.
Of course, we should point out that HMD has not made an official statement yet. Over time, we will see whether the renewed Lumia, which is said to have high-end features, will be real.
