Dusseldorf The energy supply is getting tight – and that is reflected in the prices. On Monday, the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology announced the amount of the gas surcharge: From October 1st, household customers and companies will receive up to 2.419 cents more per kilowatt hour – depending on how much is passed on to the consumer. How prices will develop in the long term can hardly be predicted. But regardless of the profitability, it is time to look around for alternatives. Because even according to environmental criteria, gas performs poorly. Owners have more freedom of choice here than renters.
While the latter can create alternatives, especially by changing contracts or using mobile devices, owners only have the option of taking larger measures.
