New models that will receive HarmonyOS 3 have been announced!

Huawei recently shared the list of new models that will receive HarmonyOS 3. So which models will get the new version?

The shared video is a proof that the compatibility of HarmonyOS with the computer environment has been verified. However, we can say that the software is not yet ready for operations that require performance. Heavy optimization operations are needed to perform more difficult operations.

The Chinese developer has now completed the driver adaptation of the laptop’s USB, network port, SATA port, PCIE and other hardware interfaces. Adaptation work continues for the laptop’s built-in keyboard and touchpad driver.

The computer integration processes of HarmonyOS are currently continuing on two different devices. The first of the computers has an 8th generation Intel i5 processor, while the other has an 11th generation Intel i3 processor. Considering that both devices are equipped with X86 CPU architecture, it can be said that OpenHarmony’s adaptation to this architecture is basically complete.

It is speculated that OpenHarmony is based on the Linux kernel. Optimization is expected to go further in the coming days. So what do you think about HarmonyOS working in computer environment? You can share your views with us in the comments section. You can watch the related video below.
