Malware named Elcheron, detected by digital communications protection platform SafeGuard Cyber, targeted crypto money users on Telegram.
In its latest report, SafeGuard Cyber stated that Elcheron is a new Telegram malware that targets crypto-focused groups with the aim of stealing crypto wallets and account credentials.
In the SafeGuard report “The Echelon sample we analyzed targets credentials, crypto wallets and has some fingerprinting capabilities.” said.
